Ron Wexler, Ph.D., CTO/CPO
Co-Founder, WexEnergy
Managing Member of WexEnergy Innovations, LLC
Dr. Ron Wexler is the science teacher you wish you’d had back in high school. And he’s an inventor who is also approachable. Ron loves solving important problems but is also passionate about helping you learn.
Ron’s developed technologies that can save you time and money because he has the vision, scientific education, and industrial business experience needed to bring reliable solutions to market.
Ron wants you to understand the science behind WindowSkin® technology so you can be part of the solution to make existing windows that are energy inefficient.
When Ron began his journey in 2014, he started two companies for his window-related inventions. The first, WexEnergy, is the maker of WexWindows™, affordable and easy-to-install window insulation panels. The second company, WexEnergy Innovations, is developing a digital photographic measuring tool for use in WindoWare™.
Before starting WexEnergy and WexEnergy Innovations, Ron worked at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York as a research scientist. From the storied company’s R&D labs, he developed technologies that became an important part of commercialized products.
At Kodak, Ron was the inventor listed on 23 U.S. patents and had a dozen inventions that produced over $2 billion in sales. He also led the development of patent portfolios for project teams that were issued approximately 200 patents.
Ron’s desire to apply his scientific knowledge to real-world problems led him to Kodak’s Legal Department in 2006. There, he worked on patent portfolio valuation for the team that negotiated licensing deals along with mergers and acquisitions.
Dr. Ron Wexler received his S.B. in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and was a Research Fellow and the California Institute of Technology.
“We all live and work in buildings so that we can be comfortable, healthy and productive. Everyone on the planet deserves this. We won’t truly solve the problem of wasted energy (and money!) through windows without solutions that are affordable and easy to implement, and accessible to everyone.
And as a side benefit, we will decrease carbon emissions and make a dent in solving the climate crisis.”

Co-Founder, WexEnergy

With her 27 years of experience in commercial and multifamily real estate, Rachel has walked many miles in your shoes. Until June 2017, she was President of Norry Management Corp., a privately-owned property development and management firm in Rochester, New York.
At Norry, Rachel managed millions of square feet of commercial office, multi-family residential and industrial properties across five states. Yet in nearly three decades in the field, she replaced windows only once, because they are too expensive, too disruptive and their paybacks are measured in decades!
Rachel joined the WexEnergy team in 2017 because she understood that WexWindows™ could be a game changer in the CRE world. Today, Rachel is the driving force behind our company’s Go-to-Market strategy. She’s building relationships with customers, channel partners and utilities. Rachel is ready to talk to you about the challenges you’re facing and see if WexEnergy has a solution for you.
Rachel earned her B.S. in Finance and Economics and MBA in Management and Entrepreneurship from New York University.
“WindowSkin is the sexiest product I’ve ever seen in real estate! It’s easy to install, and there’s no maintenance. Need I say more?”
